This series is inspired by the stone lanterns of Japanese gardens, offering a quiet pause—a chance to reflect and to experience light in its simplest form. Each painting, created with a single color and the fewest possible elements, draws the eye away from the distractions of everyday life and toward the stillness of the present moment. At the heart of each painting, a single word appears in Braille, rendered with a touch of phosphorescent pigment. A hidden light that emerges only briefly in the dark, much like the gentle glow of stone lanterns that have guided the way for centuries.
