Exhibition Statement
Is the result of my year-long effort to depict the emotions and experiences of individuals marginalized in society. This collection portrays the lives and struggles of people including those with mental and physical disabilities, acid attack survivors, and the homeless—groups often overlooked in the bustle of daily life. In these works, I have sought to use exaggerated colors and bold forms to more deeply convey the psychological and emotional states of these subjects. The dynamic and expressive compositions reflect my attempt to capture the complex inner and outer worlds of these individuals.
