There in Your Presence

Sitting there, in the corner of a small room—restless by the houseplants, or lost in thought, staring at your own shadow; at times reclining in the comfort of days gone by, or absorbed in the black mirror of your phone—suddenly, you find yourself seeing off the fading sunset.

“There in Your Presence” is an attempt to depict the existential states and strange moments that pass over us. In this collection, I have sought to defy convention by creating a contrast between actions and colors, illustrating the inertia of human existence with bold and vibrant hues. The lonelier the bodies, the bolder the colors; the calmer and more indistinct the faces, the more dynamic the movement of objects. It is as though life, when everything comes to a standstill, suddenly becomes visible:
