Forgotten Ones
In nature, the form of limbs evolves according to the function they serve for the organism. In this painting series, to express the emotions of both the subject and the artist, the colors, the function of limbs, and the overall figure have taken on an exaggerated form.
Some time ago, I managed a care center for orphaned and special-needs children. I saw the suffering and pain of these forgotten children as a metaphor for the anguish, despair, and helplessness of modern humanity. This realization became the starting point for the current project. The “Forgotten Ones” series is inspired by the lives and conditions of these children.
