The Things Searching for oneself through a connection with the surrounding environment and the things within it—things that humans create and consume, which, in turn, consume humans and outlive them. Yet, many of these things remain, holding the memories of people within them, reminding us of days gone by and lives lived—silent witnesses. In this collection, I attempted to delve into my inner explorations in relation to the still life around me. It was a challenge to understand the essence of things and establish a dialectical relationship with them. Colored pencils provided me with a fresh and delightful experience, allowing me to explore and examine a new technique within this creative challenge.
