Remnant What we see framed is the legacy left behind by humans who suddenly grew up. They knew war, tasted poverty, and touched separations. Now they're lost in time. They don't recognize themselves, and we will never recognize them either. Children born into ruins. They've learned death well and tested it over and over again. Perhaps out of fear, they hide behind their dolls to play, sleep, and sometimes find joy away from everyone's sight. A space they never had. Perhaps these days they are searching for themselves. Searching for a lost childhood that splashes water on their faces every night in their dreams. Sometimes, I also see that child who braids her hair and hums softly with fear.
