Statement

Reflection
While looking at shop windows, the reflection of the city’s vibrant life on their glass caught my attention. The discovery of an intriguing space created by the simultaneous reflection of two images—moving from stillness and stagnation toward motion and transformation in an instant—and the birth of a two-dimensional space at the intersection of two perspectives on the glass surface, inadvertently drawing the viewer inward, inspired me to create a collection. This collection represents both a realistic and surrealistic approach through the medium of painting. The cold and faint presence of humans in most of the works in this collection is a reference to their place in a self-made environment and their position in the current social conditions.
