“ORIENTAL WARMTH”
In the “Oriental Warmth” series, the past and present intertwine. Forms and colors emerge from the depths of Persian miniatures, yet the narratives are no longer the same. Amidst layers of color, the woman—sometimes concealed, sometimes revealed—struggles to transcend boundaries and limitations.
In most ancient miniatures, women were not the focal point of depiction. However, in “Oriental Warmth,” men are pushed to the periphery, while the woman becomes a fluid force—present in the battlefields, in the silence of old houses, in mirrors that reflect the truth. Fragmented at times, brimming with the vibrancy of life at others, yet always in motion, in transformation, reclaiming her place. The interwoven layers of these paintings resemble voices that seep through walls—unstoppable, uncontainable.
“Oriental Warmth” is a narrative of presence, breaking barriers, and reclaiming lost spaces. These paintings tell the story of women who defy imposed boundaries, reclaim their rightful place, and redefine the world anew.
